Bernadette is a lively, energetic artist with a constant awareness of new media and the changing art scene. She studied Art in Manchester but took a break in her career when she married into the Army and was raising children. She accompanied her husband on many overseas postings including Eastern Europe and Zimbabwe - an exciting world from which she still draws inspiration. Bernadette recently resumed her studies and successfully completed a full time course in Art, Design and Digital Media. Bernadette has now returned to full time painting, drawing on her experiences and concentrating on an abstract expressionist style.
Bernadette Oliver has exhibited in previous York Open Studios 2016.
