Alison's felted work is created using a single needle from rare breed wool, alpaca and silk and often incorporates found items such as carpet, tapestry and beads to create added texture and depth.
Public Preview Evening 5th April
Exhibiting in 2019
Alison started drawing and painting as a small child, but only got beyond dabbling when she discovered that art could be created with things other than paint, paper and clay.
Alison's preferred medium is wool which she feels imparts the life it once had to the artwork created with it. This makes it perfect for the animal art she prefers to create.
