Angela Anning works with a wide range of textiles and techniques: silks, fine wools, cottons, threads all in sumptuous colours and textures to create artwork, scarves, shades and jewellery.

Angela Anning always created textiles in her personal life after a degree in Fine Art and English, but following a career in writing, researching and teaching has worked full time as a textile artist for the last fifteen years.
She bases the design of her work on places and objects observed and recorded in drawings and photographs. She creates artwork and functional and wearable art from silks, wools, cottons and a wide range of threads.anningtextiles.com

Walking and cycling - access St Edward's Close via the snicket gate on Tadcaster Road opposite Pocklington Carpets.
Car - turn into Cherry Lane next to The Holiday Inn on Tadcaster Road. Take the first left into St Edward's Close and follow the road round to the last house on the right. Parking in front of the double garage.
There are steps from the pavement into the venue
