For Angela Anning textile art is a second career, following a degree in Fine Art and English and a successful professional life as an educator, academic and writer. For the last fifteen years she has developed work in both fine and decorative arts. Her starting points are photographs and drawings of places she has visited and recorded, but then influenced by the nature and characteristics of the textiles with which she is working.anningtextiles.com
