Carol paints in acrylic on canvas.She paints with a small roller and has developed her own distinctive colour palette. Her themes include domestic objects and semi-abstracted figures.

Meet the artist & maker

In her late 60s Carol took an Art Foundation Course at York College where she as awarded the Art and Design Lifelong Student of the Year Award 2018. She is inspired by Outsider Art, Art Brut and Folk Art. She has shown work in Yorkshire galleries , online galleries in London and is collected by interior designers. Recently she has collaborated with the store Toast on a national campaign.
