Meet the artist & maker

After gaining a BA(Hons) in Ceramics from Sunderland University, Catherine has been a freelance potter and teacher for almost 20 years, working from her own small studio in Heworth. She makes both colourful slipware pottery, to be used and enjoyed and also hand-built raku or smoke fired clay animals.
