Meet the artist & maker

Brought up with wild nature in New Zealand, Cathy trained in theatre and TV in England. In York since 1994, she studied printmaking and painting modules at York St John University, with short courses at Chelsea, the Slade and with Margaret Hunter. Alongside York Open Studios, her prints and paintings have been exhibited at city art galleries in Leeds, Scarborough and Hull, at Zillah Bell in Thirsk, and at York University (Norman Rea and Roselyn Lyons).
