Dianne's work is primarily watercolour. She creates atmospheric pieces, inspired by architecture and nature, layering translucent colours to add depth and creating delicate textures with granulated pigments.

Dianne started her career as a potter and then returned to study Art as a mature student, which led to a BA(Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design. She is currently working as a Freelance Designer and loves to paint in her spare time. She had her first watercolour exhibition at the Yorkshire Arboretum in 2022.
This is the first year that Dianne Turner has exhibited at York Open Studios
