Elaine Hughes is a paper artist. Her whimsical stitched collages depict scenes from an imaginary world called ‘Oh Golly Gosh’ where everything is hickle-de-pickle-de.

Elaine is a graduate from MMU. Elaine’s work has been exhibited in galleries across the UK, and been profiled in a number of publications worldwide. Her work can be found in homes across the globe.
Elaine creates stitched collages using vintage papers and ephemera to depict scenes from an imaginary, whimsical world called ‘Oh Golly Gosh’. The text and graphics of old printed papers, along with a love of the character of old buildings and boats provides inspiration.
