Emily's first taste of clay was during her Pre-BA Foundation Course at Batley School of Art and Design. Inspired by this medium Emily went on to study a BA Honours degree in Ceramics at the University of Wales, Cardiff, graduating in 2007. Since graduating she has concentrated on setting up her studio, now working from PICA Studios in the heart of York, and developing her ceramics career.
