Frances Sladen is inspired by striking and iconic landmarks and architecture. Using predominantly pencil, she creates high-detail drawings of these buildings and landscapes as well as more stylised watercolour illustrations.
Open first weekend only.
Exhibiting in 2019
Frances Sladen is a local artist and musician who has lived, studied and worked in York for the last seven years. Last year saw Frances start her own business under the name Yarrow and Twine, taking on private commissions and branching out into wedding stationery illustration and design. Her techniques are mostly self-taught and she travels as widely as she can to discover new buildings and landscapes to add to her sketchbook.
This is the first year that Frances Sladen has exhibited at York Open StudiosYarrowandTwine.etsy.com
