Gail was the co-founder of York Open Studios in 2002 with Anne Hutchison.
Her artistic career started in ceramics, which she made and exhibited for 30 years after gaining a First Class BA Hons at Central School of Art in London in 1980. Ceramic commissions included making pots for Bruce Oldfield, fashion designer, and for Trisha Guild/Next Interiors. Commissions for collages, which Gail has been making since 2014 have come from New York, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Spain, France and UK.

Access is via the cycle track. The studio gate is off the cycle track between river and The Chocolate Works on Bishopthorpe Road. There is NO access via Croft Mews on Bishopthorpe Road. Unrestricted parking on Bishopthorpe Road for 2 hours.
