Gerard's work consists of hand-coloured limited edition linoprints and cutouts focused on nature and wildlife, inspired by the countryside around where he lives in York.

Exhibiting in 2023
Medium: Printmaking
From a young boy, Gerard always had two great loves, nature and art. He went to Bangor University to study Zoology and then went on to work for the Wildlife Trust as an illustrator. He then pursued other work avenues until 15 years ago when he was made redundant and felt that this was a now-or-never opportunity to re-pursue his love of art. He attended a print-making course at York College and this is where his journey began and he has not looked back.
