Gonzalo Blanco is a lecturer and researcher who specialised in muscle diseases. He joined a fine art academy in 2018 determined to revive an artistic vein neglected since childhood. His primary motivation is to convey unique lights and shadows from clear skies and foggy days to trigger excitement and curiosity in the viewer. His work was selected for expositions at the York Hospitals and a local gallery in 2022.
This is the first year that Gonzalo Blanco has exhibited at York Open Studios
