Meet the artist & maker

Jess is an illustrator and recent graduate from the Cambridge School of Art; with a Masters Degree in Children’s Book Illustration. The course developed her skills in observational drawing, colour and narrative, which sparked a passion to keep sketchbooks and draw from life. Jess’s observational drawings influence her final illustrations, whether it be an idea, character or setting.

Since graduating Jess has been shortlisted for the Batsford Prize and the World Illustration Awards.
