Jill and her studio moved from Brighton four years ago. She started out teaching medieval literature; now she has paintings in collections from Peru to Tasmania. Jill loves patterns, natural and man-made; recurrent themes involve night skies, human origins, sea and sky, and reclaimed materials. A member of York’s Westside Artists, she’s had many solo and group exhibitions, mainly in London and the Southeast, and more recently in and around York.
