Jo’s interest lies in the extensive opportunities for experimentation when combining stencil printing techniques with painting. Her imagery is of birds in our gardens, parks and countryside.

Meet the artist & maker

Fascinated by nature Jo is inspired by chance encounters with wildlife. She makes intricate stencils and papercut imagery from her original drawings. She then sprays, stipples and sponges her images layering them onto painted surfaces capturing the atmosphere of the natural world. Her work is found in private collections and has been shown in galleries here and abroad. She has exhibited at the International Bird Fair in Rutland and is a member of York Printmakers.
