Jo’s work is abstract, inspired by horizons, from textured paintings combined with rusted metal and rust-prints on paper and plaster, to painting sea/landscapes on gold-metal leaf. Sizes 20x20cm to 150x150cm.

Jo studied Fine Art at Bradford University, and Upholstery at Leeds Art College. She has a career in both and has taught these subjects professionally. Her artwork graces the walls of three York Lord Mayors, and her upholstered ‘Portrait Sofa’ can be seen in York Art Gallery.
Jo also applies her skills to interior design. She works from her city centre studios Rogues Atelier.
