Jo’s work is primarily abstract - from rust-prints on paper, plaster and wooden panels, to combining rusted metal with painting, and seascapes on gold leaf. Sizes vary between 20x20cm to 120x120cm.

Meet the artist & maker

Jo studied Fine Art at Bradford University, and Upholstery at Leeds Art College. She has a career in both and has taught these subjects professionally.
Her artwork graces the walls of three York Lord Mayors, and her upholstered ‘Portrait Sofa’ can be seen in York Art Gallery.
Jo often applies her creative skills to commercial interior design in cafe’s, shops and bars.
She works from her city centre studios Rogues Atelier in Fossgate.
