Joanna exhibits reduction linocut prints and illustrations featuring animals, landscapes, birds and botanical designs. Her pieces are saturated with vibrant colours and textures capturing light and atmosphere.

Meet the artist & maker

Joanna works full time as an illustrator and designer creating book covers and labels for wines and spirits. Alongside this work she teaches printmaking workshops and makes her own art, primarily in the medium of linocut. Most of her ideas come from adventures in the outdoors where she enjoys hill-walking and wild swimming. She believes that art can give us a feeling of belonging, making us feel at home in a fast-changing and alienating world.
