Meet the artist & maker

Following a career in the fashion industry and also as a designer and retailer in York Joanne has fulfilled her love of drawing and painting by taking a space in Pica Studios.

Her degree in fashion/ textiles and hence love of pattern informs her work.

She uses watercolour for its immediacy and luminosity.

Recently selected for a piece at The Town House gallery summer exhibition in Spitalfelds, London..

This is the first year that Joanne Edmonds has exhibited at York Open Studios
