Meet the artist & maker

Sculptural ceramics, using the technique of coiling. Judith's work is often presented as trios, thus emphasising the relationship between the pieces. She is inspired by painters such as Morandi and Whistler; she often incorporates different strata of clays in the same piece to give a painterly quality. Ceramic artists that inspire her include Jennifer Lee and Ashraf Hanna - unglazed handbuilt work with clean lines that enhance the interior design of homes.

This is the first year that Judith Glover has exhibited at York Open Studios
