Working mainly in acrylics Karen is fascinated by light and its effects. Her subject matter constantly changes due to influences brought on by her teaching.

Starting as a Graphic designer then moving into teaching art at a Maximum secure prison for 15 years Karen decided to become a full time artist 10 years ago. She is now a self taught dyslexic 2D artist who has shown and sold her work at numerous venues around England including a solo exhibition at York Art Gallery. ‘I’m living the dream’
