Meet the artist & maker

Kate grew up on the edge of Dartmoor and her love of wild, natural landscapes has never left her. She often spends many days studying a location to explore its unique qualities, working quickly and instinctively, inspired by shifting light and changing weather conditions. Back at her easel, her studio paintings reference her sketch books, studies, notes and collected objects, and are often richly textural and layered with subtle colour.

Arnup Studios are just off the main street (first right if approaching from the A166, or last left if approaching from Stockton on the Forest/Warthill direction). The studios are on the right as you enter Panman Lane. There is free parking on site and in the village. The number 10 bus stops two minutes walk away on the A166. Bikes are welcome.
