Kerry works in oil on up-cycled pieces of wood and handmade cotton rag. Her work highlights the contrast between light and shadows wherever possible.

Meet the artist & maker

Kerry studied General Art and Design at York College of Arts and Technology before specialising in Studio Ceramics at Chesterfield, which she completed in 1987. 

She has a small art studio and pottery at her home in York. Nature and places that she has visited provides the inspiration for her work. 

This is the first year that Kerry Ann Moffat has exhibited at York Open Studios
