Linda uses a range of techniques including printing, hand stitching, distressing, and painting fabrics to create her abstract textile art. She enjoys experimenting with new methods for her expressive pieces.

Meet the artist & maker

Linda has been creating textile artwork since the age of 16, inspiring her to complete her degree in surface print and fashion. She has been teaching textiles and art for the past 25 years alongside producing her own creations. Linda is inspired by weathered and worn surfaces; her recent work is inspired by the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi.
