Liz is a colour-led abstract painter who explores pattern, form and gestural mark-making in her work. Working mainly in oils, her experimental approach also includes mixed-media, print and collage.
Exhibiting in 2023
Liz trained at the Glasgow School of Art (BA hons) and the University of Hull (MA Fine Art). She’s an experimental artist, whose work centres around interactions of colour and form. Her work is abstract in nature as she avoids direct representation, however her work often references memories and traces of things she has seen. She exhibits nationally, including at the RA Summer Exhibition, and has work in both public and private collections.lizfosterart.co.uk
