Meet the artist & maker

A minimalist approach to form sees Marie abstracting shapes and shadows to bring into view harmonised urban scenes. Using contrasting methods of geometric shapes and visable brush strokes, she engages the viewer in a landscape rooted in reality but open to interpretation. Her paintings portray a sense of modern serenity in which the viewer can imagine their version of contemporary reality.
