Meet the artist & maker

Meredith Andrea’s linoprints are inspired by her local environment, particularly its allotment gardens. Observations captured in snaps and sketches while gardening are worked on over many days, creating prints that celebrate the fleeting moments that give rise to them. Drawing, sharpening gouges, selecting paper and mixing ink are as satisfying and essential to her finished prints as composting, weeding and planting are to growing - with luck - something edible.
