Meet the artist & maker

Nicola has a reflective practice. Observation and encounter are fundamental aspects. Her visual interest lies beyond the object. She is drawn to light, line, pattern and shape that occurs in peripheral space. A space which is fluid, ambiguous and lacking definition.  A space in which the peripheral becomes the object. She uses drawing , folding and photography, exploring through process and the inherent voice of materials to record, respond and evoke her experience of looking.
