Penny's sculptural ceramic work attempts to capture the essential nature of wild things with particular attention to textural surface and movement.
Exhibiting in 2021
Penny divides her time creating work and teaching at St Peters School, York. Using layered textural surfaces, her sculptures attempt to capture and emphasise both the energy and wildness of her subject matter. Penny has started exploring the possibilities of larger portrait heads, using primates as her predominant subject matter.ppceramicsat.com
