The work is Peter's response to this unique space, its quirks and constraints. This medieval tower has four floors, and Peter will produce a different installation on each floor. He will be working with reclaimed wood, shards and shells.

Meet the artist & maker
Peter is a plasterer by trade. He did a degree in Fine Art at Leeds Poly as a mature student, and then an MA in Art and Architecture at Canterbury School of Art. He still works as a plasterer. His artwork often involves his plastering skills, as well as other building materials, and found objects. He is interested in responding to an environment, and says the Postern Tower is a wonderful space to be working in.
