Peter Park works predominantly with acrylic paint on canvas. Recent work has been in still life compositions often incorporating plants. Stong composition in a semi abstract form.

Meet the artist & maker

Peter Park first studied printed textile design and obtained a first and MA. degree in the subject. Having worked for some years in a commercial design studio for a large textile manufacturer he then began lecturing in textile design at Manchester University. Ten years ago, Peter returned to live in his home city of York and has since then established himself as an artist working on landscape painting and more recently still life compositions.
