Meet the artist & maker

Following his degree from Loughborough College of Art, Philip initially produced hand-thrown garden terracotta in Liverpool before moving back to York where a range of white earthenware domestic pottery was introduced and sold through his shop on Micklegate. Since becoming an art teacher, he gradually began to work in stoneware and now sells his homewares and one-off pieces online and through various outlets across the region.
