Meet the artist & maker

Born in Sardinia, now working and living in York, Pietro has always been interested in art. During his degree studies in Contemporary 3D Craft at York College, he started to focus on the use of the ceramic medium. Since graduating, Pietro has taken part in a number of selected exhibitions, including The Kunsthuis Annual Ceramics Show, Crayke, 2015 and various exhibitions at the Silson Contemporary Gallery in Harrogate where he’s also one of the gallery artists.

This is the first year that Pietro Sanna has exhibited at York Open Studios

(However parking is available at Nunnery Lane carpark and then can be reached on foot). Accessible for cars via Scarcroft Rd. No on street parking without a resident permit.

Due to a narrow hallway the house does not have wheelchair access .
