Ric is a freelance illustrator based in York at PICA Studios. He uses his work to capture everyday life in York, depicting its distinctive and much loved sites. He uses acrylics, pencils, collage and mono-print to create these illustrations.

Meet the artist & maker

Ric is a freelance illustrator specialising in architectural illustration. He is inspired by the buildings and sites of York. His more recent work celebrates and promotes the independent businesses York has to offer. Ric is an ambassador for these shops, bars and cafés and believes they are important in helping communities grow.

Ric uses combination of acrylics, inks, collage and printmaking to produce his illustrations.
