Richard makes furniture and other wooden decorative items. His designs often incorporate patterns, which he achieves through the manipulation of contrasting wood and veneers.

Meet the artist & maker

After a 27-year career as a civil engineer, Richard took a leap of faith and changed vocation to follow his passion for all things wood. In 2017 he re-trained at Waters and Acland furniture school. In 2019 he set up Richard Frost Design where he combines the problem-solving techniques of an engineer with the creative skills of an artist to design and make beautiful furniture.
