Rosie Bramley’s colourful paintings explore her devotion and connection to land and sea. Gestural marks dance around the surface of each painting, creating abstract works inspired by the natural world.

Rosie studied Fine Art at Bretton Hall College, University of Leeds, graduating in 1996. Rosie has been teaching art and photography at Driffield School and Sixth Form since 2004. She recently started a Masters in Art Psychotherapy Practise at Sheffield Hallam. Rosie has exhibited locally for a number of years and returns to York Open Studios with a new collection of works inspired by the landscape and ever-changing world around her.
