Meet the artist & maker

Rosie specialised in handwoven textiles during her degree at Bath Spa University. Since graduating she has been producing handwoven fabrics for products including cushions, lampshades, upholstered stools, and other small woven items. She takes her inspiration for colour, texture and structure from both the natural and industrial landscapes. Rosie’s work is distinctive in its use of vibrant colours and fine woven patterns.

This is the first year that Rosie Waring has exhibited at York Open Studios
