Ruth composes pots from sections, worked intensively each piece develops its own particular voice. Submitted to the kiln the salt vapours play across the surfaces adding subtle richness and depth.

Unexpected yet hauntingly familiar, Ruth's unique and distinctive ceramic vessels have been exhibited widely and are represented in many collections, both public and private, in the UK and overseas.
