Meet the artist & maker

Stephen blends three of his passions; art and politics and wildlife welfare.

Impassioned by historical and current political events and influenced by street art, he hopes his artworks may be a catalyst for change in some, validation for others, or just to make people reflect and think.

Stephen is a member of York Printmakers and West Yorkshire Print Workshop .

He has exhibited at a variety of local arts venues including Ferens Art Gallery.

This is the first year that Stephen Bottrill has exhibited at York Open Studios
