In Memory of Anne Hutchison
York Open Studios committee members are sad to hear of the recent death of Anne Hutchison, who was one of the founders of the event in 2001. She was very influential and inspirational in encouraging local artists to open their doors to the public and promote their talents and skills.
Along with being an accomplished musician, Anne was a talented artist, producing a variety of wonderful work, over many years.
Without her input in the early years, York Open Studios would not be the highly successful event it is today. Our thoughts are with Anne’s family and friends.
