Nicola Harper Textile Artist

Nicola is a textile artist based in York and a member of York Textile Artists. Her work explores the dialogue between the structured beauty of architecture and the organic flow of landscapes and seascapes. Each piece is created using mainly recycled and texturally rich fabrics, yarns, and threads. Through a combination of free-motion machine embroidery, appliqué, and acrylic painting, she blends colour and texture to create intricate, sculptural surfaces.
