Gerard Hobson

Gerard  trained in zoology at Bangor University, graduating in 1980, and began his career as a wildlife illustrator for the Wiltshire and Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts. He took a new direction after studying printmaking at York College, where he developed his signature style and transitioned to full-time freelance practice. Working from his garden studio, Gerard has produced work in collaboration with organisations such as the National Trust, the National Memorial Arboretum, York Minster and York Open Studios.
