Katie Isaac
Katie’s hyperrealist oil paintings are inspired by nature. She produces urban pen drawings from an idiosyncratic aspect, striving to bring what might often be overlooked, or unseen, into sharp relief.

Meet the artist & maker

Katie started drawing and painting her environment as a child to help process what felt overwhelming, into a language she could understand. Diagnosed with dyslexia and autism as a child, she has always been transfixed by details of the everyday, describing seeing the environment as if through a magnifying glass. After graduating with a First Class Honours in Fine Art, Katie continues to paint en plein air and at her studio in York.
