Justine Warner

Justine makes textile and mixed media art using recycled fabrics, vintage ties and found objects. Her work often shows landscapes, built up in layers of colour and texture to create depth.

Demonstrations held at 11am and 2pm throughout event.

Meet the artist & maker

Justine is a North Yorkshire-based textile and mixed-media artist who creates layered landscapes using recycled fabrics. A secondary school teacher and textiles tutor, she began working as a professional artist after completing her contemporary studio in 2020. Inspired by the natural beauty of northern England, her work has been shown at The Biscuit Factory, Ferens Art Gallery, Zillah Bell and Yorkshire Arboretum. She also appeared on Landscape Artist of the Year in 2022.
