In Memory of Phil Magson
We are saddened to announce the death of Phil Magson, a much loved member of York Open Studios for many years. A talented ceramicist, Phil was known as a skilled thrower of contemporary stoneware, with his work featured in galleries across the region. He was also a dedicated art teacher, inspiring many through his craft and knowledge. Phil will be greatly missed but he lives on in his ceramics.
Our thoughts are with Anna-Marie and his family at this time.
Venue 86 will be closed throughout the Open Studios weekends.
