Jane Blackman
Hand-built, sculptural vessels in which the form acts as a frame for expressive abstract paintings on the internal surface.
Meet the artist & maker

After graduating from the Royal College of Art, Jane set up her first workshop at Clockwork Studios in South London. In 2002 she moved to York, exhibiting widely in galleries across the UK. Jane then took a break from ceramics, working with her husband to open a microbrewery but now, after 11 years making beer, she has returned to making ceramics from her studio in Acaster Malbis.
