Meet the artist & maker

Julia works in the summerhouse with oil paints and pen and watercolour to create highly saturated images. Inspiration is taken from the rich history and architecture of her surrounding area, and she works with the movement the centuries create in old buildings. She likes the juxtaposition of ancient structures and how the light forms pleasing images. She’s self-taught so something different is created. Look out for the floating chimneys in some of her original work.

The venue is on the ground floor.

There are steps from the pavement into the venue.

Access through the rear garden via Cinder Lane.

Work will be displayed in the summerhouse – there is a long narrow earthen path leading to the garden access.

Assistance dogs are welcome.
