Meet the artist & maker

Danny is a studio potter fascinated by prehistoric archaeological art, material culture and pottery from Europe’s Late Mesolithic and Early Neolithic. His creative identity is grounded in the regenerative cycles of life and death, the natural world, anthropogenic objects, and humanity’s unique and enduring drive to create art. Danny seeks to unite the research of prehistoric archaeological art, contemporary studio pottery practices and ancient pottery traditions, whilst emphasising the use of natural and locally sourced materials.
