Pennie Lordan

Using oil paint on varied substrates, Pennie builds immersive, atmospheric works inspired by location sketches, film and music, exploring contrasts in emotion through layered texture, colour and light.

Meet the artist & maker

Pennie is a contemporary visual artist who grew up in London and pursued a non-traditional path. Starting in animation, she later earned a First-Class Degree in Art and Education. Pennie trained at Leith School of Art and Turps Banana Art School, focusing on contemporary landscape painting. She exhibits locally and nationally, selling work through galleries and her York studio gallery.
