Claire creates expressive paintings inspired by the natural world around her home. She experiments with line, shape, colour and pattern in a variety of ways to capture her lived environment.

Meet the artist & maker

Claire is an artist and qualified teacher of Art and Design. She has taken part in a number of exhibitions across the North of England, Midlands and London. Her love of colour, pattern and form developed during her time working as a milliner and costume designer. She currently teaches Art and is the art technician at Pocklington School while developing her own art practice.
